DIY Thanksgiving Appetizer Hummus Charcuterie Board

Simple Thanksgiving snacks + meals = better quality time. Am I right? Endlessly cooking and cleaning is not my idea of a fun holiday. You? Here’s a simple charcuterie board to inspire you to make your own. I promise it’s quite simple + you can adjust as needed, just use ingredients you have. Here’s your simple Thanksgiving day appetizer recipe.

Gather:

Fresh berries: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries

Fresh grapes

Slice Cal-Organic rainbow baby carrots

Enjoy Life dark chocolate minis

Dip gluten free pretzels into melted chocolate, sprinkle with gluten free sprinkles

Pour Three Peaks Manuka Honey into a small bowl

Hummus Recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cans of canellini beans, strained

1 can of garbanzo beans with liquid reserved. Pour off 2 Tbsp liquid.

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

1 Tsp cracked pepper

2 Tsp Herbed salt or garlic salt

Directions:

Pour ingredients into a blender. Blend on medium. Transfer to small bowl. Add two candy eyeballs. Slice a triangle for a turkey nose out of a carrot. And, slice two rectangles out of a a purple carrot for turkey feet.

Arrange carrot “feathers” around the bowl + add additional snacks to the board.
