The best part about creating a charcuterie board? There are no rules. Create what you like. Use what you have. If you are making a board for your kids, include a few foods you know they love + also include some foods you hope they will try, this is a great opportunity for a positive exposure to new foods.

Of course, if you are creating a board for guests, check to see if they have any allergies. If so, the board should be free from any allergens as cross contamination can cause an anaphylactic reaction + it can also cause a severe reaction for people with Celiac Disease. It is not safe for people living with these conditions to eat or pick around a food. Hugs + thank you for your kindness towards all people living with a food related condition or disease.
